Tula State university is the co-educational institute for medical education. It is officially recognized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. It is approved by the Medical Council of India and the World Health Organization. The university has a total number of 2400 highly experienced and professional staff members. The library of Tula State University consists of 1.5 million books.

Hostel and mess facility.

Tula State university provides facilities such as health resorts, in-campus polyclinic, and canteen. The University has the largest network of hostels. Both local and international students can avail of the hostel facility. The hostel has sharing accommodation with basic furniture, washroom and appliance that is offered to every student.
