Established in 1930, Tula State University, or TulSU, is among the oldest universities in Russia. More than 20,000 students from over 71 countries are pursuing their higher education at TulSU. majority of students hail from international countries - Africa, Vietnam, Middle East - as well as the CIS and neighboring countries. The university is composed of nine faculties (colleges), a medical institute, a center of pre-university studies, a regional center for professional development, and 73 departments.
Established in 1994, the medical faculty of Tula State University was later retransformed into a renowned medical institute in 2008. The institution is a public university that offers advanced MBBS in Russia and welcomes Indian and international students for graduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. medical courses.
